Happy Birthday, Madison!

Today has been a great day! Madison is 5 today and I have been taking a stroll down memory lane all day remembering the day she was born. Chris and I are truly blessed to have such a beautiful little girl in our lives. Happy Birthday, Madi! May all your dreams come true!
We love you,

Kindergarten

Well, after a lot of searching, we finally found the perfect program for Madison this school year! We looked and looked for different schools for her to attend, but couldn't find the right one. One morning during our Sunday School class, one of the ladies mentioned that she worked in a private school and it was a great program. We felt like it was worth checking out. I am so glad we did! From the interview, we knew immediately that this is where Madi was going to begin her schooling. She attends a kindergarten program 4 1/2 days a week. She has Bible class everyday and attends Chapel once a week. We are so proud of our little princess! Watch out Calvary Baptist School, Madi is on her way!

Just For Grins

So, it has been a very long time since we have updated our blog. Let me explain the reason for that...A couple of months ago, my mother-in-law and I were tossing around an idea that we had been talking about for years about opening our own store in Montgomery. On this particular day, we were discussing it, with the understanding that it was just a dream, and my father-in-law actually entertained the idea of it. We talked about the different items we would put in it and where we would open it. He gave us the go ahead to find the location and get started. So we looked at one building and decided that was the perfect spot for us. Within 2 weeks, we had a store and had moved things in. Amazingly, we have now outgrown our store due to the overwhelming amount of products we have, however, we will stay right where we are for a while because the location and room is perfect! If you get a chance check out our website (it is still under construction) and see some of the things we are selling or better yet, come visit us in person! We would love to see you!

I promise that we will upload lots of pictures of the kids and let you know what we have been up to over the past few months besides opening a store very soon! We are so blessed!!!!!

Bluebonnets

After we went to the Blue Bell Factory, we found a beautiful hill full of bluebonnets and other wild flowers. Fortunately, they had notbeen trampled too badly, until our children got there. Nevertheless, we had fun and the kids raced through the flowers and surprisingly, no one tried to pick a bluebonnet!

Final Days of Spring Break

We had a lot of fun during Spring Break this year!! Friday morning, we went with the Adams family to take a tour of the Blue Bell Ice Creamery in Brenham, TX. (Just 56 miles from our driveway to their parking lot) It was a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed seeing where the ice cream is made, but I think they enjoyed sampling it even more.

Spring Break!!

Today we took the kids to the park in our neighborhood and everyone had a ball. Madi is daredevil and Caleb earned his nickname, Monkey Boy. While Madison would climb to the top of equipment and get stuck, Caleb would hang from the top and swing like a monkey until he would get to the other side. I love Spring Break and it is only Tuesday!

T-Ball Game 1 -- Astros vs. Rangers

Future M.V.P.

Today was Caleb's first T-Ball Game. His team is the Astros. He did great. He went 3 for 3 and scored 2 runs. He played 1st base, pitcher, and the outfield. There are 9 games to go and he is shaping up to be a great ball player.
